EFB Users Forum and Delta Expo – 21-22 April 2010, Atlanta, GA.


The first EFB Users Forum meeting will be hosted by Delta Air Lines at their world headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia. The meeting will be chaired by Captain Alan Kasher, Southwest, and Captain Andreas Ritter, Lufthansa.
The EFB Users Forum was formed by airlines to enable aircraft operators to maximize the operational benefit and the economic benefit of EFB equipment and services. This activity is a coordinating activity among airlines and cargo carriers, aircraft manufacturers, EFB suppliers on issues of mutual interest leading to the identification and resolution of all types of issues related to EFB.


The EFB Users Forum welcomes airlines, airframe manufacturers, EFB system integrators, EFB hardware providers, EFB application providers and other interested parties to present discuss and find solutions for topics of interest to the EFB user community.
This includes but is not limited to EFB topics:
• Installation issues
• Operational issues
• Communication interfaces
• Data input devices, terminals, displays, interactive devices
• Application software
• Regulatory issues
This meeting will cover a wide range of EFB topics that were pre-identified by airline operators. Airline-led presentations will be followed by panel discussions.

Delta Airlines will also host an EFB Expo at the Delta Air Museum Hanger 2. The Expo will be open from 0900 to 1500 each day. Time has been set aside for attendees to eat as a group and to meet the various Expo participants. Lunch will be served at the Expo from 1130 to 1330 each day. EFB suppliers, system integrators and others will demonstrate their EFB products and services.
