New Look, Features Now Offered by Air Charter Marketplace

JetCharters.com launches new look and features to its popular air charter marketplace which now features over 700 aircraft and 200 charter operators.

For nearly a year, the JetCharters.com Worldwide Air Charter Marketplace has positioned itself as the one-stop solution for private jet travelers with more than 700 aircraft and 200 operators ready to meet their needs. Now, the site offers more search options and a number of new features to bring charter operators and consumers closer together.

“Building search technology and other features geared toward attracting the private traveler is our focus, though our partnership with operators really makes us look good,” Robert Hart, head of JetCharters.com said. “None of this would be possible without their hard work and willingness to participate in a new program introduced during hard economic times.”
While the marketplace has introduced some industry firsts, such as video promotion and intelligent search technology, it isn’t calling it quits on improving the service.

Just recently, Jet Charters debuted an entirely new look along with a number of features. Ernie Falco, who introduced the new design, felt it was time to “put the best face on private charter online” by releasing “a look that brings private aviation in line with the best in any industry.”
The latest release is not all looks. Several new features to help promote operators and their planes were added.
The most noticeable is the new “Fleet Sheet” and “Aircraft Sheet” PDF download that charter consumers can download from any operator or aircraft page, allowing customers to take details with them offline with the click of a mouse.
“Charter consumers can now download fleet or aircraft details, save them to their computer for later consideration or email them to others,” Hart said. “Operators who do not want to spend the time or money to create similar can use the same PDFs on their websites or other marketing outlets.”
Social networking is key in brand building for the marketplace, and JetCharters.com transfers that benefit to charter operators by allowing them to add their own social links to operator and aircraft profile pages. Operators can add their facebook, twitter and linkedin profiles to their main profile and aircraft pages.
For the first time, the marketplace also displays aircraft listings on the JetCharters.com homepage. Visitors to the site automatically see aircraft available near their current location.
Charter consumers, who can now have a central account with the marketplace, can save featured aircraft, trip requests, email preferences and more. “We are the only private aviation website whose sole focus is to connect charter operators and consumers directly without markup,” Falco said, which is a first “outside of the broker community that can add thousands of dollars to any trip.”
