Welcome

Until a few years ago, we had no idea what the word “blog” (the contraction of the term weblog) really meant. Then all of a sudden, it was all over us.
Chin-ChinNo self respecting prime minister, dictator or college student would consider not having a blog.
But what is this magic tool that seems to have such an irresistible force of attraction for such a wide swath of humanity?
Wikipedia tells us that a blog is a kind of website with regular entries of commentary, descriptions of events and other material, such as graphics and video. While some blogs function as a personal online diary, many blogs provide commentary or news on a particular subject.
Roger-Wilco is a blog of this second category. RWB is dedicated to the world of air traffic management, as seen through the eyes of air traffic controllers, pilots, engineers, psychologists… and YOU, our readers who we trust will comment on the articles appearing on the pages of our blog.

We have a top-notch team of contributors with whom we hope to capture and keep your interest. But the rank of contributors is open and we welcome everyone who has something interesting to tell in the form of comments or articles.
At all times we will strive to represent the views of the worldwide profession, unencumbered by political sensitivities.
We do recognise that there may be different views on the same subject and we welcome representatives of each. While we may not always agree on everything, we can and must learn from each other.
We want to make Roger-Wilco into a watering hole where everyone interested in air traffic management, whether flying aircraft big or small, controlling them or building systems, can come and quench their thirst for information in a sphere of mutual trust and respect.
We will ensure that there is always plenty of water and good company to make a visit worthwhile.
Thank you for visiting us and sharing your ideas.

  1. Hi Steve,
Congratulations for having created this blog!
Roger-Wilco as its title is a brilliant choice (ten strike). Not mention the article in Flashback Same Time, Same Place, Same Level… makes me very very happy.
Now, I wish you all the best and good luck!
